On our second day, we had the privilege of supporting the brave men and women of the 101st Battalion in Zakarpattia Oblast. Together, we loaded seven trucks and vans that we had procured and donated. By the time you read this, these vehicles will be serving on the front lines, aiding Ukraine's fight for freedom.
We were joined by the Hungarian charity Transcarpathian Dragon Supply and Balázs Trautmann, who generously contributed upgraded generators and Ecoflows to enhance the vehicles’ utility.
Vynohradiv’s Remembrance Wall
In a symbolic gesture, we rode in these new vehicles alongside soldiers, making a poignant stop at Vynohradiv’s Remembrance Wall to honor the fallen heroes who inspire us with their sacrifice.
Lunch with the 101st Brigade
Later, we shared a meal at their “safe haven,” where camaraderie flourished over homemade liquor gifted by a soldier’s father. These moments of connection were tempered by sobering stories of the harsh realities of war, underscoring the unyielding resolve of the Ukrainian people.
The day continued with a tour of their base, where we held unloaded weapons and listened to an impassioned pitch from their commander about innovative drone vehicles designed to rescue injured soldiers. This idea resonated deeply with Harold, our youngest team member at just 17 years old, who is now committed to exploring fundraising opportunities for this vital initiative.

Packages for female heroes of Ukraine
We concluded our day at Vynohradiv’s volunteer and humanitarian center, led by our dear friends Lyudmila and Oleg. Here, we prepared 30 special care packages for women on the front lines, filled with essential items and heartfelt surprises brought from America.

This journey has reinforced the profound impact that simple acts of generosity and showing up can have in creating meaningful, transformational change here and across the world.
