The building we assessed stood neglected, other parts of the hospital's old unsafe buildings in the process of being demolished, creating space for completely new projects. It holds the potential to become a vital rehabilitation wing for children facing physical challenges and could also incorporate a new wing for child mental help and therapy.

This year, we had the privilege of organizing a special elf party for the children at the Good Samaritan Children's Home in the village of Nagydobrony. It was a day filled with smiles, music, and festive cheer as 170 kids received new pajamas, hats, indoor shoes, and sweets.

The Good Samaritan Children's Home is an orphanage in Velika Dobrony, Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine. We have set ourselves a challenge to bring personalized gift packs for each kid living here, in December 2025. That is 170 kids.

Direct Aid mission comes to Velika Dobrony, to the Good Samaritan Children's Home. We had a day of fun, building Ikea furniture together with locals, and watched the little boys smiling, taking over their new home.

A beginning of an other Direct Aid for Ukraine trip to Ukraine. We had teams of local volunteers joining us to finish building furnitures and unboxing special child development tools for the Early Intervention Center of the Maltese Charity Services

This was the first day of our Direct Aid 2024 September mission. We spent the day traveling to Ukraine, and arriving to Csongor, a local community we helped to renovate the kindergarten and provided a power generator to heat the local school of 200 kids.
